WOODS:

Body woods are typically, mahogany, mahogany with maple cap, butternut, swamp ash.

Neck woods are typically mahogany with rosewood fingerboards (Indian, Bolivian, or Cocobolo).

Every guitar is hand built to each customer's specification. You'll consult personally with the owner of Bucci Guitars about options like neck shape and width, woods, fret wire material and sizes, hardware like tuning keys and bridges, et cetera.

This is the Bucci difference. Unlike so many sites asking you to click preset options to build your guitar online, Bucci Guitars is completely hands on, offering the opportunity to truly custom tailor the neck to fit your grip, and the body to fit your playing style.

ELECTRIC GUITARS

Nick's personal selection of woods are offered as a starting point of any acoustic. Some models are produced that offer "stock options" or Nick's suggestions that are based on his first hand experience.

Body shape/depth:

Current shapes are based on grand concert, although dreadnaught (round or square shoulder) and jumbo bodies are available.

Depths on GC guitars are 3.75 to 4 inches. Other depths can vary.

Recommended woods, fingerboards, bridge, etc

Body woods are generally Mahogany, Cherry, Rosewood (Indian, Bolivian, Cocobolo), Koa, and Swiss Pear. Fingerboards and bridges are generally rosewood.

Solid Body Electrics

After years of experimenting with body shapes, neck angles, fingerboard accessibility, hardware and pickup combinations, what I'm offering is the result of those efforts. Suggestions are made to help the player realize his/her comfort zone based on how they play and where their hands are on the instrument. -Nick Bucci

BODY SHAPES:

Bucci Guitars offers three different body shapes based on preferred design. In terms of functionality...

BODY SHAPE 1 is a Strat/LP combination with contours.

BODY SHAPE 2 is based on body shape 1 but is typically thinner with a deeper cutaway on the top to facilitate easy access slide playing (SG) with or without contours.

BODY SHAPE 3 is closer to a Telecaster with those appointments in mind (flat, no contours/binding). This option is also available as semi-hollow with or without F-hole designs.

Hardware (bridges, tail pieces, tuning keys) and pickups are ordered in accordance with customer preference. Designs are reflective of those choices.

Fret wire is stainless, EVO, or nickel, and sized by preference.

Neck shape (V, C, D) is also determined by customer preference.

As mentioned above, all of these options are a result of direct conversation between luthier and player. Bucci Guitars will not offer "online option choice" for these

custom built instruments.
